Choosing a Swimsuit for Your Body Type
As the weather gets warmer, people are increasingly thinking about pulling out the swimwear for those summer beach outings. But that also means people are worrying about their figures. Not many people could confidently say they like the way they look in a bathing suit, but this isn’t entirely a product of having a poor self image. In some respects, it’s also about choosing the right bathing suit to match your body type.
The first and most important rule for choosing a flattering swimsuit is finding the size and brand that works for you. Whether you prefer the cut of UjENA or Speedo, find the brand that makes suits for your body type. The number one reason people don’t like a suit is because they feel it makes them look too flat, too round, or otherwise unappealing. So if you know you’re self-conscious about your stomach, stick with a solid colored one piece suit. If you wish you had a bigger chest, choose a suit with padded cups and an underwire for the illusion of a bust. Whatever the issue, choose a flattering cut and make sure the suit itself isn’t too small or too big.
